Do I need to move furniture before the decorator arrives?

We move and protect furniture as part of the job, but we ask you to remove any particularly fragile or valuable items beforehand. We will discuss the set-up process with you when we arrive.

What type of paint do you use?

We use trade-grade paints from manufacturers including Dulux Trade, Farrow and Ball, Little Greene, and Johnstones. We advise on the best product for each surface — for example, eggshell rather than emulsion for woodwork, and specialist bathroom or kitchen paint in high-moisture areas.

Can you colour match to an existing paint?

Yes. Most paint brands offer colour matching services. If you have a colour reference — a paint code, a chip, or even a photo — we can source a match.

Do you hang wallpaper as well as paint?

Yes. We hang all types of wallpaper including lining paper, feature wallpapers, and large-format photographic murals. We prepare the walls properly before hanging to ensure a clean and durable result.

Can you paint exterior render and brickwork?

Yes. We paint masonry, render, brick, and pebbledash using appropriate exterior masonry paints. We also carry out minor surface repairs before painting where needed.

How do I prepare walls before you arrive?

You do not need to prepare anything. We assess and prepare all surfaces as part of the job — filling holes, sanding, applying stain block where needed, and priming bare surfaces.

How soon can I use a freshly painted room?

Most modern emulsions are touch-dry within one to two hours and fully recoatable in four hours. Furniture can typically be moved back the following day. We advise you on this at the end of the job.

Can you do out-of-hours decorating for a business?

Do you provide a guarantee on decorating work?
